2010 TCAdvance Scholarship Program

The Turkish Coalition of America is now accepting applications for its 2010 TCAdvance Scholarship Program.

TCAdvance Scholarship Program was established in 2007 with the goal to support American students of Turkish heritage who pursue a degree and career in public and international affairs, law, communications and public relations. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement, civic engagement, particularly active participation in Turkish American community affairs, as well as individual leadership qualities. Since the program's inception, the scholarship was awarded to 36 students.

The application deadline is Friday, June 11, 2010. The scholarship recipients will be announced on July 4, 2010 and scholarships will be awarded on October 29, 2010.

2011 TCAdvance Scholarship Program

Turkish Coalition of America (TCA) is accepting applications for its 2011 TCAdvance Scholarship Program through Friday, June 17, 2011.

The TCAdvance Scholarship Program was established in 2007 to support American students of Turkish and Turkic heritage who pursue a career in public and international affairs, law and communications. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, civic engagement, particularly active participation in Turkish American community affairs, as well as individual leadership qualities. Since the program's inception in 2007, 48 Turkish American students have been awarded the TCAdvance Scholarship.

Armenian American Verbal Thuggery Provokes Criminal Investigation Request in Ohio

Washington DC, November 3, 2008 - The Turkish American Legal Defense Fund today requested the Attorney General of Ohio, Nancy H. Rogers, to open a criminal investigation under Ohio law into signature Armenian verbal thuggery employed by Armenian American independent candidate David Krikorian against Representative Jean Schmidt. The Congresswoman represents the 2nd district of Ohio, and is running for re-election. The criminal lies under that Krikorian recently splattered against Ms. Schmidt are emblematic of the religiously and ethnically bigoted campaign tactics that Armenian Americans celebrate, directly or indirectly, against congressional candidates who refuse to salute their narrow, close-minded, fanatical anti-Turkish agenda.
